Our History

The first Belmont Fire department was located at an old, woodcraft, cabinet shop located on Augusta Road. The owner of the building was an original Belmont Firefighter, Jake Ivester. The facility was not equip with living quarters or a meeting space. Consequently, only equipment was housed at the building and meetings were held at the Augusta Acres Community Club. The building still stands today and is owned by a private individual.
